In the midst of Upper Beaujolais, half way between Paris and the Riviera (close to Lyon, Saint-Etienne & Mâcon), this residence is nestled in the quietness of a green setting and gets a breathtaking view of a whole valley of meadows and groves. If you love peace & quiet and long rambling walks in the countryside, then you will love this place. The owners have been restoring the chateau since 1998. The first priority was to work on the inside. On the outside, the peeling façades nonetheless give the chateau a certain charm and authenticity.

In summer as well as winter, you will be surprised by the serene atmosphere of the location. During the summer, you will enjoy the terrace from breakfast until evening, lulled by the soothing sounds of birds singing and cow bells. During the winter, after a long walk through the countryside, you will enjoy the cocooned feeling of savouring a creamy hot chocolate or a bottle of champagne in front of a hearty log fire in the living room. 

This castle has 4 prestigious rooms furnished in different antic period style. The rooms have no TV and no radio.
Please note that the driveway to the castle is not accessible for sportscars.

In the evenings, you are most welcome to join Emmanuel and Jean-Luc for dinner in their dining room. At this one shared table lit by candelabra, they serve home made dishes and  Beaujolais wine, of course. Do have a look at the floor in the dining room. You may guess the age.....Emmanuel and Jean-Luc come from a stressful live in Paris and decided to leave their careers in finance behind them. Their best decision so far!!
