Castell d'Empordà is located 30 minutes from Girona's Airport, which is roughly a two-hour flight from various major European airports.
The rooms
- CASTLE ROOM
These rooms are located in the original part of the castle. They are tastefully decorated with Indian silk curtains and pillows in red, blue and mother pearl colors, Chinese wood panels and hand made bathroom tiles from Marrakech, all of which harmoniously combine with the rustic medieval stonewalls. The views over the Empordà's rolling pine hills are breathtaking.
- GARDEN ROOM
This is a spectacular new building that was constructed in the Eastern mountainside of the castle. It is situated next to the pool and it has a roof garden. All these rooms, decorated with antique oak floorboards, silk curtains, Italian and Chinese furniture, count also with private balconies from which one can enjoy stunning sunsets.
Room 16 has balcony doors overlooking the medieval village.
- TOWER ROOM
Located in the tower of the castle these rooms have spectacular views. They are intimately decorated and are the ideal choice for romantic couples. These rooms are equipped with a shower.
- GARDEN SUITES
The Garden suites are the new bet of Hotel Castell d'Empordà to surprise their guests. To achieve this new goal we count on one of the best interiorists in Spain: Cristina Gabas.
All suites are decorated in a contemporary style with classical esthetic references that becomes part of the landscape. Light colors with a medieval touch and natural materials such as antique oak, teak and natural stone are refered to our mother Nature. The enormous rooms count with 2 ambiances: a living area and a bedroom. The bathroom is inspired in the hamman. The bathoom and the bedroom count with balconies overlooking tho the amazing lanscapes of the Ampurdan.

- Suite Pere Margarit
Located in the heart of the castle, this was the original master bedroom that has been beautifully restored with stained glass windows, Victorian bathtub and Indian silks.
